It seems a new WORKING private server is on the rise! It’s name is ”Penguin Safari”. So far, they have been able to take a basic private server online. You currently cannot register an account, administrators are currently only allowed. I got to get a peak of it though on one of their test accounts. I took a screenshot, check it out.
Of course it’s just a very basic version, no commands, and probably the server couldn’t hold a lot of people. I probably won’t play other private servers besides iCPv3. And to get commands online, and servers that can handle several hundred people online at once, that could take a while.
There could be a bad side though, to new private servers. Some of them could be designed to be “phishers”, or password stealers, so when you signed up, they could get your password and then they could get into your email. (if you use the same password) iCPv3 encrypts your data, which means they cannot view it.
I’ll be sure to update you when this has a sign up page or an official release date.
Do you think that there should be new private servers? Or just iCPv3?
(in other words would you like more private servers, or would you like to just have one main private server, iCPv3)
