This is a warning for all of the Club Penguin private server users, it’s very important that you know this information.
More and more new Club Penguin private servers have been emerging daily, and you need to make sure that you are careful when registering and downloading for other private servers.
These new private servers can be designed as phishers, which means they are trying to get your password when you register. iCP’s passwords are encrypted, which means that nobody can view them, however other private server owners can leave the passwords unencrypted, which means that they could see your password. It is important not to use a password that you do not use for anything else (email, YouTube, etc) when signing up for Club Penguin private servers other than iCP.
These new private servers (besides iCP) can also contain viruses, such as keyloggers, which would send every keystroke to the owner, which is even worse than them getting your password. It is very important that you know that the private server is secure BEFORE downloading/registering.
iCP is currently the only VERIFIED secure Club Penguin private server.
I will be posting SECURE Club Penguin private servers on iCP Cheats for you guys to check out, so you guys will be able to check out new CP private servers, without having to worry.
