I closed SimpleCP today, leaving this message:
Dear fellow SimpleCP players, after a short time period of SimpleCP’s release it has sadly come to an end.
When I started SimpleCP, I feared something many CPPS creators do, this fear is defeat (competition). I knew SimpleCP would be a an out-cast since there are much stronger CPPSes out there, so I started working on stuff for SimpleCP, but every day it was costing me. No donations came through, hardly any toolbar downloads etc…
Face facts, the CPPS community is way to big, compared to what all of us expected in iCPv3, we did not think it would end up like this…. The funny thing is people still fake CPPS, the latest fake CPPS I came across was iCPv14, c’mon iCPv14, what next CPPSv1000?
Look, we’re not being fair to Disney nor CP staff. The CPPS community is out of hand, either Disney will end up suing CPPSes or hackers will take over CPPSes and would just end all CPPS, The end of CPPSes.
Please take all this on board, its your choice, I don’t think your parents would like to be sued, possibly have a criminal record, just think this: Is it worth it?

I will still post on CPPSHQ, but as of now I’m resigning from all the CPPSes I’m in.

Lol Most likely CP will send a C&D before taking you to court. And alot of ppl who claim to be hackers are just ppl wh guess passwords. Which that isnt real hacking so dont worry about that, Juts make a hard pass! And with CP.. Most likely they will not C&D… Anyways if you have a life but you know how to make a cpps, just hire alot of GOOD staff to keep it up and running!

Hello, I Completly agree with Hyperdude120. I quit CPPSes Yesterday so it’s kinda convienent that Hyperdude120 did a day after me. I will not continue I may just check out what’s new on CPPSHQ but that will probaltly be it.

Who ever started iCP, why? WHY did you do this? All the other people who started CPPSes, why did you make one, even though you knew Disney would throw something back at you? It’s just a waste of time to make one and blow your money away just to start one. It’s not worth it, CPPS players.
