For the past few days, you may have noticed that ClubPenguinV’s website was down. I have recieved a message from one of the owners of CPV as to why the site has been down. Take a look:
As many users have noticed, Club Penguin V has been down in the last few days, and we would like to apologize for the downtime. Club Penguin V is back online, and we’ll be working to ensure there is as little downtime as possible in the future.
Our web host apparently received a take down request for a portion of our site from a law firm in Germany (country where our website was previously hosted). Even though we have yet to verify the legitimacy of the law firm and their affiliation with Disney, we have adhered to the request to expedite the process and reduce downtime. However, our site was still suspended, so our host has moved us to a different server in the United States, where Club Penguin V resides today.
Once again, we would like to apologize for the downtime, and we hope this doesn’t happen again in the future.
