RealCP Comes to an End

Hello.

RealCP, a popular Club Penguin Private Server created by Myles, finally ended yesterday after a period of 3-4 months.

A message regarding the closure was uploaded prior to the aforementioned incident. Here is what it stated :

Due to unforeseen circumstances RealCP will to cease to exist within 25 days. We appolgise for any inconvenience the site will continue to be up until it goes down. Donations have been halted, and we will not be accepting anymore in the future.

For unknown reasons, Myles has seemingly refused to disclose the actual reasoning behind the ending, however it appeared to be losing players by the end of this saga anyway.

Furthermore, a few days prior to this post, Myles posted another message regarding the donations system embedded onto the server.

We will be reducing the ranks of all donators who last donated last year, This will occur on 3rd March. This does not apply if you donated for a higher rank after christmas. You will be deranked by 1-3 ranks. This comes into terms with our 2 Months Guarantee.

What it states is that donators will have to donate yet again to receive the rank they originally donated for. Personally, I think this is a bit much, as the whole idea of a private server is to allow all users (except mods) to have the same abilities and features. So, I ask you this question, would you be willing to donate to a private server? And, if you would, would you be happy to be constantly upgrading your donation abilities, just like in Club Penguin?
