Hello, everybody. First of all, I would like to say that I am a new CPPSHQ author, and I am glad to be here. My name is Dylan Frank, and I am known as B00mX0r. You may know me from Penguin Trillion, Rile5, CP Plus, Xat, MystCPv2, or eCPPS. I have been a staff member and an owner on multiple CPPSes, and I’m looking forward to being an author on CPPSHQ. I have had blogging and reporting experience in the past, too.
Now then, I wanted to tell you guys about some of the new features on CP Plus, a few things that are going to be added soon, or some features on CP Plus that you may have not heard about yet. There are also some other things involving it I would like to cover. First of all, I’m guessing many of you know Tybone10, as he was an owner on CP Plus. Earlier today, he has resigned from CP Plus and the CPPS community. He says that he doesn’t see a point in CPPSes, and that they are now boring. He also says that he has now gone on to make his own projects.
So, continuing the topic of CP Plus, Cooldude170 did some work on the commands a few days ago. Firstly, he has made it so moderators can no longer use their commands to pretend to be him (CP Plus moderators and mediators have a !hide command that allows them to remove their badges to the public and change their nickname, so they can go under cover. Sometimes, staff members use the command to make their name Cooldude’s as a joke). Secondly, he has made a new command, !msg. This command allows staff members to make everybody say something at the same time.
In an interview with Cooldude170, I asked him about what he thought of Tybone10′s resignation. “He was a staff member for less than 24 hours. It won’t have a big impact, if any at all,” responds Cooldude170 to the question. He says that he is not sure what the team will create next, and that a replacement staff member will not be looked for to replace Tybone10. When I asked how many users are currently registered on CP Plus, Cooldude170 refused to comment, saying the database stats are to be kept confidential.
Now, lastly, Zen has closed. Pepsi made a mistake in his earlier post, so I would like to tell you that LustCP and Zen/ZenCPPS are not the same CPPS. LustCP is owned by Seether and Cody, while Zen was owned by Tybone10 and Cyberwolf. Anyway, Zen has been closed now. The message on their homepage states that they will never be returning.

UPDATE: I would like to warn you guys of a current glitch in CP Plus. There is no newspaper yet, so if you click the newspaper icon, you will have to switch rooms or possibly refresh after, as it can mess up the chat feature and stop you from moving around.

So, I have interviewed Icy, the designer for CP Plus. “Well, I wanted to make the game more fun and interesting for everybody,” exclaims Icy, when I asked him what inspired him to become the item designer for CP Plus. Icy now says that he is a better coder than an item designer, but he says what better way to express his way of life other than some awesome items. Icy has also given me a sneak peak of what will come next. He says that he may make some white nikes. He also tells me that he’s starting to get into some more animated graphics. Finishing up the interview, Icy would like to say to the community that they should expect much more awesome items out very soon, so be ready! I will update you guys more on when these new graphics are launched. Icy is an administrator on CP Plus. He designs custom items for it, and has designed most of the custom items you see there.
