Just like the cake in the Aperture Labs, it’s a lie.
It’s fake, it does not exist, it is made up.
Here is the “C&D” CheekyJay, the ExOwner of AP received:

Well, I guess nobody is perfect, but a lawsuit operating for one of the biggest companys should at least be 99.9% accurate.
Whoever wrote that up, failed badly, that’s why we officially claim this C&D as FAKE.

Myles quit by himself, somehow he got over his shadow and decided to close RealCP and develop his own “Multiplayer Flash Game”, respect to him for that.
TL;DR:
The death of the CPPS scene was made up by some kids considered “popular”, you may know who I’m aiming at.
Enough about that, let’s get to section b of this post, CPPS.me.
CPPS.me is really closing for now, but not forever, you can consider this a “development maintenance downtime”, we did NOT get a C&D by Disney.

I’m glad you guys cleared this up for me.
As I am guessing, “Dope” has taken over CPPSHQ, and taken all of the original members out of this but “Nickname1″. I must say though, Dope you are working the site with your Authors better then Roman ever did.. change may not be what some people want, but I think this change was for the best. After this was taken down, I pretty much gave up on the CPPS world, but you have brought back what I loved for years.. and for that I thank you. If you have a Skype, please add the user: AshleyCP3

what is with disney now like have they gone mad its just everyone in cpps.me is saying for kids to forget about disney and what i heard so much this is making me hate disney for goood.

CPPS es un plagio de Club Penguin, propiedad única y exclusivamente de Disney.
CPPS infringía derechos de autor, porque se parecía muchísimo al juego de Club Penguin, y eso es robar las ideas de la gente.
Entiendo lo de la libertad de expresión, y que la gente se divierta y tal… pero esto es lo que pasa cuando le robas a alguien su idea. Deberiáis dedicaros a hacer vuestro propio mundo virtual, ¡seguro os iría genial!

Además, Disney es el canal con mejor programación que he visto. No le pongáis pegas T.T… si yo tuviese mi propio mundo, evidentemente también denunciaria cualquier plagio, igual que lo harías tú, igual que lo haría todo el mundo. Ya está bien de quejaros ¿no? Además, seguramente os pegáis montonazo de horas pegados a la compu, de hecho puede que gran parte del día. No malgastéis vuestra vida así, buscando servidores privados idénticos al Club Penguin, ¡es imposible! Salid a la calle, id al cine, pasead al perro (si tenéis XD), pasad el día con vuestros amigos (que no creo que tan petardos sean, bueno, al menos yo lo creo mejor que estar delante de una pantalla buscando algo divertido que hacer cuando lo único que tienes que hacer es salir a fuera). Esto os lo digo muy en serio, y espero que estar pegados a vuestro ordenador no se convierta en un vicio… yo tengo un amigo que se envició, se envició, se envició… y lleva, emm… desde que tuvo su primer ordenador hasta los 29 años. Deprimente. No desperdicien su vida haciendo eso. Hagan algo con su vida.

CPPS.me closed, because of the fake C&D letter that was received. Although it was fake, CPPS.me is still closed, but will most likely re-open in a few months time, since it was a very popular Club Penguin private server (CPPS). So, they closed it to take safety, but they’ll re-open it. Don’t worry!
