The Pengable story

Good evening,
it’s raining heavily outside over here, even more than on Rainymood.com, that’s why I decided to write a statement on the Pengable story, specifically on the last posts about Pengable on CPPSHQ, and about the post they made on their blog about our article.

Pengable is owned by several administrators, most of them are just enjoying their time, but some of them take the whole thing too serious – reminds me a bit of every other successful big CPPS.

I have checked the images that were posted as proof again on the first post, which turned out to be fake indeed, the whole article has been removed now.
All the other reported hacks are PROVEN to be real!
I don’t know what rode CheekyJay, but he has been deranked for now, as this is unacceptable.
Take this as my official apology for not checking every single bit of the article.

As for the other articles, they are real, the other hacks did happen, but no pornography was broadcasted, as not everything is about defacing someone these days.
Pengable is neither safe, nor totally unsecure.

After emailing me several times, requesting the takedown of the articles (..or else), I eventually even received a fake DMCA from them, claiming that the articles featured a copyrighted image – their logo!

In the end, both sides didn’t play fair (or payed too less attention to the articles published), but I hope this sorts it out.
I’m sorry that it took me so long to actually look into it, but I have a quite stressful life.

CPPSHQ also seems to receive quiet alot attention from an unknown attacker in the last few weeks too, but I guess everyone needs attention.

EDIT:
After a small talk, it appears one of Pengable’s owners coolboy_714 and CheekyJay had a private quarrel and decided to take it out publically.
CheekyJay has asked me to put his apology here – he is sorry.

Looking at it more closely, Pengable wouldn’t even have been able to have any of the popups, because they are MISSING the required code for them.
